Training started at Afrika Tikkun, Wings of Life, Diepsloot today!
What a wonderful start to the classroom facilitator training! Four mothers with children with disabilities and two grandmothers of children with disabilities will spend the next four weeks going through The Paige Project classroom facilitator training programme.
At the end of September these six ladies will be trained on all aspects of assisting a teacher in an early childhood development classroom in including a child with a disability.
Ntombi and her team at Afrika Tikkun are to be applauded for their commitment and dedication to including children with disabilities into their ECD centres and in so doing bringing about social change within not only the Diepsloot community but within the education sector.
